Life is Better than it was 50 years ago

Things are a lot easier now than it was 50 years ago. Technology has give us more time to spend on leisure and enjoy the finer things in life. 50 years in the pass was really hard for us to have anything like jobs, it was hard for teenagers to get a job, people wasnt getting alot of money like they getting now, and kids didnt have games like we have nowadays.

Medical breakroughs have helped stop spread the diseases that once ravaged cities and countries. Travel easier and opinions have evolved. The same will be in another 50 years time too. Life is generally getting easier, however relationships are becoming strained and people are slowly becoming lazier due to the rapid increased in technology .

The advancement of science and technology has made lives better. Vacinnation helped in eradicating illnesses. Microwave made cooking more covenient. Computers and in learning and communication and ears have alarm systems and devices for geographic locations.

Computers have give us jobs and increased incomes for those in the computer field so more people are buying their own homes, enjoying life more, have what "materials" things people didnt have 50 years ago. Fifty years ago, abortion was rare and illegal. Now, it is commonplace and legal. 50 Years ago , small number of women a year died in botched illegal abortions - any is too many. Now , there are very roughly 1 million abortions per year in the united states. That is 1 million totally, utterly innocent human beings killed every year by ''doctors'' who have pledged to ''first do no harm''. These are my reason why i think life is better than 50 years ago,

frederick douglass

Frederick Douglass is a man who had the audacity to run away from slavery. He was a man that can tell you the pain he had from slavery because he has been through alot before he left from slavery. he became a leader of the abolishing movement, gaining note for his dazzling oratory and incisive antislavery writing. He stood as a living counter-example to slaveholders' arguments that slaves did not have the intellectual capacity to function as independent American citizens Many Northerners also found it hard to believe that such a great orator had been a slave

Dystopias

Make Room! Make Room! Is a interested story because it was about a police detective andy Rusch lives in half a room, sharing it with Sol, a retired engineers who has adapted a bicycle generator to power an old television set and a refrigerator.

Harrison Bergeron was a cool story also because it was base on people of being equal and no one shall be better or even smarter than anyone everyone had to be equal, if they didn't it will be consequences behind that if they wasn't equal.

A Brave New World this story is a good story its about a girl name  Miranda was raised for most of her life on an isolated island, and the only people she ever knew were her father and his servants, an enslaved savage, and spirits, notably Ariel. When she sees other people for the first time, she is understandably overcome with excitement, and utters, among other praise, the famous line above. However, what she is actually observing is not men acting in a refined or civilised manner, but rather drunken sailors staggering off the wreckage of their ship. Huxley employs the same irony when the "savage" John refers to what he sees as a "brave new world".

My favorite dystopia is the move called The Matrix , this movie is so interested that I could watch it everyday and not get tired of it. The matrix is a action movie about Neo a guy that didn't know what was going on he got put over one time and gotting a insect inside of his belly button , and Neo met these people that where fighters that saves people lives , and neo had to pick a pill it was blue and the other was red he had tp pick one of them , everyday Neo had to go train with this guy , this guy pick him because he haves faith in this boy and he know that one day it will be freedom again because he know that he will defeat the enemy one day that always killing people and treating people like slaves and etc.

Stopping gang violence

Gang violence has been going on for many years Operation Gang Up, formed in 2011, is a community-based organization that connects citizens, law enforcement and elected officials to help identify, fight and prevent the spread of gangs. The Police Officers now estimates that there are now at least 1.4 million members of some 33,000 gangs across the country, and those numbers keeps growing. Operation Gang Up is a way to familiarize the community with signs of gang activity and stop gangs from infiltrating our communities. They adversely affect our communities with the ever-present threat of violence, increased crime rate and vandalism – casting a shadow of fear over neighborhoods. Residents in areas where gangs are rampant may not feel safe in their own homes, be afraid to sit on their own front porches, or fear for their children’s safety when they simply leave for school each day. No one should ever have to live with that constant fear. Our communities need concerted efforts from responsible officials at every level – federal, state and local – to forge aggressive solutions, particularly where there is a correlation between housing and crime.
